Setting up business in Russia

For you to operate your business in Russia you will need to register a company in Russia. The process can be complicated, but at DebitCredit we work on your behalf to make the process of setting up a business in Russia smooth and hassle free. Provided all documentation is in order it will take 11 days from the day we receive your payment and all the required documentation from you. Before you can register a company in Russia you must have a legal office address to use during the registration process. We can provide this for you if you do not already have one. This service includes providing you with copies of the legal documents needed to prove your office address in Moscow. Each Russian registered company must have a legal registered office in Russia. You should add this to your list of requirements when completing our business formation request form, if you require it.

Work Permits in Russia for foreigners

As a businessman and owner of a Russian business you do not need any work permits. Once you have registered a company in Russia you are free to recruit Russian nationals as your employees. However, if you do not hold a wrok permit, you will need to recruit a Russian national as CEO of your business.

If you do not appoint a Russian national as CEO or if you intend to hire foreign nationals then you will need to apply for a work permit and medical-care card for each foreign employee that you recruit. You will also need a General Permit of UFMS (Official Migration Service Department) for your llc in Russia. This permit is required if your company intends to recruit any employees who are not Russian nationals.
